Amelia Vegt is a professional contemporary artist living and working in Kelowna, BC, Canada. Amelia was born and raised in the beautiful Vancouver BC. She studied in French immersion at Hugh McRoberts Secondary School in Richmond before moving to Kelowna to study Fine Arts at UBCO. There, she spent time studying painting and various art mediums while majoring in painting. Two years into her studies, she found her calling as a Live Painter. Amelia has had the privilege of painting for weddings and events all over Canada.

Amelia Vegt is professionally trained in oil painting, acrylic, watercolour, charcoal and graphite drawing. Art has been a consistent part of her life growing up as well a big passion of hers for as long as she can remember. Amelia comes from a very artistic family who share a love for creating art. She is currently working on a series of paintings investigating the local landscapes that surround her. She is excited to find out where her journey takes her as she continues to work and live as an artist.
